I got this message when I tried to run MMC (Microsoft Management Console) on my win2k box:

Snap-in failed to initialize.
Name:System Information Extension

Here is the solution

C:\WINNT>copy system32\dllcache\msinfo32.dll "\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo"

CTRL-ALT-DEL in Vista

I wish CTRL-ALT-DEL would bring up the task manager in Vista. Instead, you have to use CTRL-SHIFT-ESC.

Still haven't been able to make windows explorer bearable.

Workaround for Comcast sending forged RST packets

I got this from slashdot
